As a rule of thumb: if your dryer is under 8 years old and the repair costs less than half the price of a new one, repair almost always wins. Past that age, or if this is the second or third repair in a couple years, replacing usually makes more sense. We'll always diagnose it first and tell you honestly which side of that line your dryer falls on, low diagnostic fee applied toward the repair either way.
Signs It's Worth Repairing
