Question 1

What appliances do you repair?

Accepted Answer

We repair most major household appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ovens, ranges, microwaves, garbage disposals, and freezers. We work on all major brands including Whirlpool, GE, Samsung, LG, Maytag, Frigidaire, KitchenAid, and Bosch.

Question 2

How quickly can you come out?

Accepted Answer

Usually the next day. During busy periods we may need a bit more lead time. Book online to see the open times, or call 623-238-8410 and we will find the earliest slot that works, especially for urgent repairs like refrigerator issues.

Question 3

Do I need to be home during the repair?

Accepted Answer

Yes, someone 18 or older needs to be present during the repair visit. This allows us to discuss the issue, explain our findings, get approval for repairs, and demonstrate that everything is working properly when we're done.

Question 4

Should I try to fix it myself first?

Accepted Answer

For safety reasons, we recommend leaving repairs to professionals, especially for gas appliances or anything involving electrical components. However, before calling, check that the appliance is plugged in, circuit breakers haven't tripped, and review your owner's manual for basic troubleshooting.

Question 5

How long does a typical repair take?

Accepted Answer

Most repairs are completed in 1-2 hours. Some complex repairs or those requiring ordered parts may take longer. We'll give you a time estimate once we've diagnosed the issue.

Question 6

Do you carry parts with you?

Accepted Answer

We stock common parts for popular appliance brands in our service vehicle. For less common parts, we may need to order them. We'll provide an estimated arrival time and schedule a follow-up visit once parts arrive.

Question 7

What if you can't fix my appliance?

Accepted Answer

If we determine that a repair isn't cost-effective or the appliance is beyond repair, we'll explain the situation honestly and help you understand your options. You'll only pay the diagnostic fee in this case.

Question 8

Do you repair appliances under warranty?

Accepted Answer

We primarily handle out-of-warranty repairs. If your appliance is still under manufacturer warranty, we recommend contacting the manufacturer for authorized service to preserve your warranty coverage.

Question 9

How much does a repair cost?

Accepted Answer

Repair costs vary depending on the appliance type, the problem, and parts needed. We charge a diagnostic fee that's applied toward the repair if you proceed. We'll always provide a complete quote before beginning any work.

Question 10

Do you charge for estimates?

Accepted Answer

We charge a diagnostic fee to come out, troubleshoot the issue, and provide a repair quote. If you proceed with the repair, this fee is applied to your total cost. If you decline, you only pay the diagnostic fee.

Question 11

When is payment due?

Accepted Answer

Payment is due upon completion of the repair. We accept credit cards, debit cards, checks, and cash. For repairs requiring ordered parts, we may require a deposit.

Question 12

Do you offer any guarantees?

Accepted Answer

Yes! We stand behind our work with a 90-day warranty on labor and parts. If the same issue recurs within that period, we'll come back and fix it at no additional charge.

Question 13

What if the problem comes back?

Accepted Answer

Our repairs come with a 90-day warranty. If the same issue returns within that period, contact us and we'll schedule a follow-up visit at no additional cost. We want your appliance working reliably.

Question 14

How can I prevent future problems?

Accepted Answer

Regular maintenance goes a long way! Clean refrigerator coils annually, don't overload washers, clean dryer lint traps after each use, run garbage disposals with cold water, and follow manufacturer guidelines for each appliance.

Question 15

Do you offer maintenance services?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we offer preventive maintenance for major appliances. Regular maintenance can extend appliance life and prevent costly breakdowns. Ask us about maintenance packages for your appliances.
